Enrollment & Housing

Half of the participants are U.S. and Canadian law students admitted through Tulane; the other half are international students from Germany and other countries admitted through Humboldt. Students admitted through Tulane will be accepted for the Berlin Program on a first-come basis. Please apply early to ensure your place in the Program. 67 U.S. and Canadian attended the 2018 program.

Housing is not included with the Berlin program, however please utilize the Berlin Program Housing Memorandum, which includes suggested names of hotels, hostels, and apartments at various price ranges (please note this information is continuously being updated).

The Apartments am Brandenburger Tor has been the most popular housing choice for the past five years. The Program has a web-based system to help participants locate roommates. The housing memorandum describes how to access the roommate locator system. You can then make your own reservations.

Germany is extremely friendly to individuals with disabilities. This is also true for Humboldt University. Humboldt has an extensive webpage to assist individuals with disabilities at The Program Directors stand by to provide this information in English.
